Categories don't show on admin, product don't show on site

I have an issue with my database. I was deleting the "Hide Categories" table from my database and I don't know what exactly happened to my store. The Categories show on the website but they only show the ID number on the admin. The products do not show on the site, by that I mean that the pages show up like if there was not a single product in it. They do not show on the admin either but the information is there because the RSS feed shows all the products.

Did you go into the database (eg: via phpMyAdmin) and DELETE the table?

... or were you working somewhere in the ZC Admin Console?

I used the SQL from phpMyAdmin and entered the following code:

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `hide_categories`;

then POOF! all my products were gone from the site. I deleted all the files and/or code related to the Hide Categories add on module. Everything else looks fine. Although the original category (only one) that was hidden is still hidden. But as I mentioned earlier, the RSS feed shows all the products.

I double checked all the files, compared them with beyond compare and everything SHOULD be OK...

I don't have a table called "hide_categories" in my dbase. Is this table the result of a previous mod install?

If you have a dbase backup (... you do... of course!), then re-create that table and insert the data again...

Other than that, I don't know what else to suggest.
