Order Total incorrect?

Hi there are many posts about this but even changing the order around and adding tax removing tax I cannot seem to figure out why its doing this, basically line by line the sub total, group discount, VAT and shipping are correct but the Order Total doesn't match??

Sub-Total:£127.92
Group Discount:-£9.59
Shipping:£0.00
VAT @ 17.5%:£20.71
Total:£140.72 <- INCORRECT should be £139.04

So some set up details:

Version 1.3.8a

Order total modules

Discount Coupon ot_coupon 280
Group Discount ot_group_pricing 150
Shipping ot_shipping 200
Sub-Total ot_subtotal 100
Tax ot_tax 300
Total ot_total 999

Group Discount module

This module is installed true
Sort Order 150
Include Shipping false
Include Tax false
Re-calculate Tax Credit Note
Tax Class VAT

I just don't understand why the prev calcs work but the total just doesn't match.

I can get total right if VAT is wrong - in case that help spoint it in the right direction?

so no ideas anyone - will try changing things around to see what I can get to work but I think its certainly tied into the group discount part if that helps at all?

Have you tried setting the Group Pricing
recalculate tax -> standard
tax class = none.

If so what values do you then get?

ok that is just weird - its now correct!?!
