Problem with adding shipping method

Hi guys...

I am basically providing FREE shipping worldwide for my items. But also would like to offer optional Registered post at USD$3 worldwide. How do I add the Registered Post option for my shipping method?

Besides, when i click on the estimate shipping button, and after I enable free shipping, I only see FREE SHIPPING option in the available shipping method list. I do not see any other shipping option, although I do also enable flat rate shipping.

Can anyone please advice what should I do if I were to offer both free shipping(irregardless of country and items) and the registered post is just an option to choose for my customer, and it is at flat rate, for all countries and no matter what and how many items they buy.

I did apply flat rate shipping besides the free shipping. But why is it not appearing during checkout available shipping methods? Only free shipping appear...

Besides, even though I enable free shipping method, why is it the "FREE SHIPPING" icon or image does not appear next to my product listing?

A few questions on Free Shipping ...

You say you want to offer Free Shipping everywhere plus offer alternative shipping ...

If products are marked Always Free Shipping, this means that you will see the Free shipping icon, but you will only see the Free Shipping freeshipper shipping option for everyone ...

If you want "Free Shipping" plus "alternative" shipping methods to be displayed then things do need to be setup differently ...

What is the "alternative" shipping that you wish to use?

I am in same situation, whereby I would like to provide free shipping on all of my products, but allow for a customer to upgrade to next day delivery and also for a charge to be applied to shipping to the EU.

I too cannot get anything but the Free shipping to appear in Checkout (not so far on product display). I have enabled some of the other options; Flat rate, Zones etc. but they do not appear.

Help is very much appreciated.

There are several ways to manage Free Shipping ...

Free Shipping freeshipper is designed to be the ONLY shipping method showing when the cart is:

1 100% no shipping charge based on 0 weight, when 0 weight is defined as Free Shipping

2 When cart is 100% Always Free Shipping products

3 A combination of the two above

To offer regular shipping and Free Shipping you need to setup your products for shipping, such as adding weight for use with UPS or USPS etc.

The, install the Free Shipping Options freeoptions shiping module ... configure this, for Total is >= 0 and it will always show in addition to the other shipping methods ...

NOTE: Be sure that you have in the Shipping/Packaging that 0 weight does NOT mean Free Shipping and do NOT have Products marked as Always Free Shipping ... otherwise, only the 1 shipping module Free Shipping freeshipper is able to display ...

Have you looked at Zone Rate zone or at the Add-on for Zone Tables in Downloads?

I have installed the "free shipping options" module, and it shows up in the checkout, along with my UPS and USPS.
The problem is that with it installed, UPS and USPS are missing from the shipping estimate page. Is there a way I can fix this?

My quick fix was to disable the free shipping options, and use table rate set for weight, and a setting of 10000:0.00

I'll change the language of the Table rate to say "Free Shipping". A solution for others whose table rate is not available to use this way would still be appreciated.
