You'll need to figure out the IP address of the other computer (probably 192.168.1.xxx) and then connect to that instead of localhost. You will also need to change your includes/configure.php to use this address instead of localhost.

I just gave someone to test the following address
Http://192.168.1.XX/mypages
This doid not work.
This is what my config.pho says.
So i have to change both localhost in Http://192.168.1.XX/mypages to get aces from any computer in the world ? correct
Or if i had an own domain http://www.mydomain.
// Define the webserver and path parameters
// HTTP_SERVER is your Main webserver: eg-http://www.your_domain.com
// HTTPS_SERVER is your Secure webserver: eg-https://www.your_domain.com
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://localhost');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://localhost');

On an INTERNAL 'Intranet' network, the http://192.168.0.xxx/zencart/ would apply and does work from other PC's within your home. The reason that your 'friend' is unable to view your handywork, is the 192.168.0.xxx is one of a few IP addresses, that have been set aside for internal network services and are totally inaccessible from the outside world. All DNS servers, automatically block those addresses from resolution for that specific reason.
There should still be, a few web hosts that offer free mini websites for either buying a domain name from them, or a better source, would be to see if your ISP offers such a service ? Once found, you can upload your work and your wife can view it internationally.
Good Luck.
I exceeded my editing time limit to the above post ??
Continuing on... If you have a friend that has an existing website up and running, you can either have them attach your work as a subdomain http://yourdomain.theirdomain.com or http://www.theirdomain.com/yourdomain/ or in the case of my wife and myself currently, we have four websites sitting in one master directory of /htdocs/domain1, /htdocs/domain2, /htdocs/domain3, etc and then point the DNS servers to each subfolder, for each domain name, To the end user, it looks like it has it's own website. The end user's can not go outside of the domain to see others except by the links we provide. This has been working for us for several years with no security issues.
Good Luck.
