Yes, I'm able to restart the totals but the start date isn't being reset.
Then you'll have to manually truncate ("empty") the "counter_history" table in phpMyAdmin.

where is phpmyadmin?
I host my sites on siteground.com and I have a "C" panel so that is where "PHPadmin" is for me. Hope that helps you.

I emptied the counter_history field, but it still says "
Hit Counter Started: 04/25/2008" in the Zen Cart admin area. Where do I update this part?
I went to Tools > Store Manager and found the spot where you update the hit counter, but I need to update the actual date, too.
