    Default Weirdest problem on earth.... HTMLAREA

    I have been using ZenCart for a good time now, but i never encountered this problem like this even after reinstalling the application three times now..

    Every time that I put "HTML Area" when I edit my products. I open a product to change or make a new one, so I get an Error

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    ERROR[createSelect]:
    Can't find the requested dropdown definition

    ----Ok--------------------------------------------------

    Then another box

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    FIXME: Unknown toolbar item: function (ms,bind,args){return this
    create{{'delay':ms,'bind':bind,'arguments':args}}();
    }
    ----Ok-----------------------------------------------------------------------

    What on earth is this????

    Fresh installion of zencart with no working HTML Area???
    The plain text works fine.

    One thing to note, my hosting provider (godaddy.com) provides for people that are pending domain transfer a DNS service called dnspreview
    so its www.yourpendingfuturesite.com.dnspreview
    Its for webmasters that need to work on their sites until it gets ready for public use.

    Thats the only difference if it makes a difference in regards to my situation.

    Please help me. Appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Naaaahhh, you cannot blame this on GoDaddy, I know they are not my favorite host either, but I have 4 ZenCart sites, 6 custom php sites, 2 html sites, and 3 Joomla sites on GoDaddy and they all run "as advertised". there are a few add-on scripts that have issues, but other than that, I get good results.

    As far as DNS preview, I have no clue, but it should'nt be an issue. Check out FCKeditor, I think you will like it 1000% better than HTMLarea.

    Are you still using this preview service or is this on a live site?

    I don't necessarily have an answer, but I know how to ask investigative questions that may trigger a response from someone with more knowledge than I.

    I have never used preview mode at GoDaddy, but I certainly don't have any trouble with it on my live sites.

    I was not the one who originally posted this thread, but yes, I am also using the previewdns feature at godaddy.

    I checked one of the sites I did in the past that is on a regular domain name and it works fine there. That site is also hosted on godaddy. It is possible that the previewdns function godaddy has is the cause. Won't know till I switch it to the domain name.
