I forgot my admin password and asked for a new one to be sent. The new password is not working. Any suggestions?
I forgot my admin password and asked for a new one to be sent. The new password is not working. Any suggestions?
Clarification:
The error message I'm getting, even after entering the new password, is "You entered the wrong username or password."
So it could be that I'm not entering the correct username. Does anyone know how I can verify my admin username?
Thanks.

I tried running the query suggested in the link and got this message:
Error
SQL query:
DELETE FROM admin WHERE admin_name = 'Admin';
MySQL said: Documentation

Any suggestions?

If all your Zen Cart tablenames have prefixes (sometimes people use "zen_" as a prefix), you'll have to add that, just as the FAQ states.

I just followed that tutorial precisely.
The end result: Admin/admin did not work to log in.
I repeat, this tutorial did not work for me.
Update to above post: I had to do a mandatory Firefox restart to clear my cookies in order for the Admin/admin password to work.
I repeat, upon using phpadmin to add the Admin/admin account, I had to restart Firefox in order for it to take effect or else I get a failed login attempt.
