    Default Expand categories by default?

I'd like to make one of the catalog folders in the side-box to be always unfolded and to show sub folders, is it possible to do ?
and I would like to make the number that shows how many items in catalog to disappear
    Thank You

Did you touch the code or did you turn it OFF in your Zen Cart Admin?

When looking at code and thinking, "what luck, I can just change this code here" ...

try using the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and take a constant like the:
    SHOW_COUNTS

and enter it into the first input box and select NONE from the dropdown and click SEARCH ...

This will check to see if this is a configuration_key in the configuration table of the database ...

If not, you can also search for its usage or possibly another method of definition where a constant is set in a php file by entering it into the bottom input field, select Catalog or Admin or Catalog/Admin and click SEARCH and it will search all of the php files for the constant, or variable or text or whatever you type into the input box ...

    Hi friends!

It has been a little while since I have edited code on my site, and I can't figure out this odd problem I am having.

I have categories and sub cats always showing with my products (works great). But for some reason my new Cat- is not showing Sub-cats anywhere!

The cat and sub cat is active, as well as the product inside the sub cat. For the life of me I cannot figure out why it is not showing. Any ideas would be hugely helpful.

    thanks!

The cat and sub cat is active, as well as the product inside the sub cat.

If you only have one product in a category, default behavior is to skip directly to its product page. You can change this in Configuration > Layout Settings > Skip 1-prod categories.

Yah, I have been fiddling since....

could you maybe explain how the formatting changed for the product? I noticed the path is different than the other products IE.

    http://gallerylunarc.com/store/index...products_id=84

    Notice the =product_music_info&Path=1_2_3_18_25...

where as the rest of the products do not tie to music IE

    http://gallerylunarc.com/store/index...products_id=31

Where did the "music" path come from?

    Thanks!

Also, the only way I could get the sub categories to show up, is by turning the "Gents" category active.

When that category is turned off, the sub cats in "ART" disappears.

Ok figuring it out by banging my head against the wall. Looks like when the category was created it actually defaulted to creating the category as Music. Fixed that, now to some minor formatting issues!
