Reset Customer Id

Is there any way to reset the customer id #? I duplicated one of my websites and failed to completely empty the database from addresses and now my 2nd site is transferring names and addresses from the original site. I realize I could just start over, but really do not want to have my customers start over by recreating accounts and such. Is there any way of either clearing only the non primary addresses, or increasing the customer id # to a higher number?

Use phpMyAdmin and alter the auto-increment value on the customers table to the new number.

Is there any way of deleting the non primary addresses without intrupting the accounts???

sure - delete the entries in address_book where there's no matching customers_default_address_id in the customers table

Always make backups before deleting data.
