Registration confirm email

Hi

I'm looking to add some kind of functionality that requires a user to confirm his/her email address.

Such as them recieving an email, where they have to click on a link to fully register their account to use the cart.

Is there any code/module/add-on i can use to achieve this?

I couldn't see anything obvious like that. So, I coded exactly same functionality myself. I would suggest couple of things:

(i) Check a different thread in this forum. I'm going over same functionality in different posts (How to disable customers automatic login after account creation?)
