    Default Re: SSL Certificate

    No.

A Shared SSL Cert is usually provided by a Hoster, to be shared amongst their Clients. Although many can use it it will always display the Domain name of the Cert Owner; again, usually the Hoster.

A Dedicated SSL Cert is used for one Domain name only. That is why it's best to purchase one and have only your Domain name show.

A Wild Card SSL Cert is usually a Dedicated Cert which is used for one Domain name but allows for use with Sub-domains.

For all of the above, your Hoster is whom you should be chatting to with regard to details and usage.
