If I create an upcoming product, is there any way I can get the Buy Now button to appear so that visitors can pre-order/buy it?

Hmm. I just noticed in Configuration>Stock that I can toggle off the SOLD OUT icon, thereby allowing orders on the product. The only problem I can see is that if I also have actual products that are out of stock and I do not wish to take any preorders on them, I'm stuck.
Is there any way, if I toggle that SOLD OUT feature back on, to somehow just tweak the Upcoming Products to allow preselling?
