Default Google Checkout returning Whoops! Your session has expired.

    Hello,

I have the google checkout module installed on my installation of zen cart. It goes through the system perfectly and the user makes payment but when they click on "return to shop" on the last screen on google checkout (when they have just confirmed and sent payment) they are sent back to my shop and greeted with:

    "Whoops! Your session has expired.
If you were placing an order, please login and your shopping cart will be restored. You may then go back to the checkout and complete your final purchases.

If you had completed an order and wish to review it, or had a download and wish to retrieve it, please go to your My Account page to view your order."

The order does not display in the admin of zen cart but does appear in my google checkout account,

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hi Steve,
I wish I could help. I'm having the exact same problem with my Moneris e-select set-up. I'm searching the forums trying to find an answer.

    Hopefully someone will reply soon.
    Good luck

I know this thread is really old, but I had the same problem and found the solution.

You need to log into your Google Checkout (Seller) account and supply the API callback URL. This is the URL that is referenced in the Google Checkout Module README file --> http://<url-site-url>/googlecheckout/responsehandler.php, except it has to be an https address.

That URL is Google communicates with Zen Cart about state changes.

That will also take care of the problem of Google Checkout orders not showing up in Zen Cart admin.
