I just got off the phone with godaddy - they say they support zen-cart.. but i just found out that port 30000 is open to (damm if forgot) it just open to one of them the same as prot 21 and port 80.,.

they dont' allow any other ports to be open.. for it..

So can i use canada post mod on godaddy.. as of right now the answer seems to be NO..

I recently spoke to goDaddy about this same issue and the response was on shared hosting they will NOT open port 30000. If, however, you are willing to upgrade to virtual dedicated ($400/year) or dedicated ($900/year) they will gladly make that port available.

Recommendation to my client CHANGE HOSTS!!!

My recommended host (sent via PM) supports ZenCart (really- not just the goDaddy lip service about support!) and opens port 30000 for the Canada post mod.

^^ Top of the page - link that says Certified Hosts :)

Most Business Specialized hosts will offer individual accounts for each with a Dedicated IP required for a SSL Cert. The methods for multiple domains usually are masked/add-on domains and can not have their own IP nor SSL Cert.

If you are wanting to run your own dedicated server one could be configured to do what you are seeking albeit at a large expense.
