    Default Free shipping question

    I've searched this forum but couldn't find the answer to my question. I'm using Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8 and have set up my cart for free shipping for order over $100. I've configured the Modules > order totals > shipping module as instructed in the FAQ. I'm using the UPS shipping module for USA. Weights for the products are entered.

    The question is that when a customer buys a product for less than $100 the shipping fee is not being calculated although the product info page shows product weight.

    Please help.

    When you see the checkout_shipping, what shipping modules are being offered?

    Which do you have installed?

    Has this ever worked for you?

    What version of Zen Cart are you running?

    Clean install or an Upgrade?

    What kind of products do you sell? Physical? Virtual? Downloads?

    UPS and FedEx but FedEx is disabled.

    I think it used to work. Most of my products are above $100.

    What version of Zen Cart are you running?
    v1.3.8

    Clean install or an Upgrade?
    Upgrade from 1.3.6

    What kind of products do you sell? Physical? Virtual? Downloads?
    Medical supplies.

    REMOVE the FedEx by clicking on it and hitting REMOVE ...

    NOTE: backup any settings you have configured to NotePad or something for future reference before doing this ...

    INSTALL UPS and test an order that you could not get to work ...

    Do either shipping module or both display now?

    Linda,

    I removed Fedex modules. And reinstalled UPS. But no luck. The cart does not calculate the shipping fee.

    here's what the free shipping configuration (modules > order totals ) looks like. See attachment.

    Hi Linda,

    Sorry for the delay in responding, got caught up in something else. The thing is that we have disabled all products below $100 because of this problem, and I don't have a test site to show you. Could this problem be due to Google Checkout we installed recently but now it is disabled???

    Your site is weird ...

    First, you are missing two classes from your stylesheet ...
    Code:

    }
    Next, you are getting the shipping quotes ... but you are not getting the shipping quote values ...

    When I go to the checkout, I see the shipping quotes but all read $0.00 and that is not normal ...

    It is also showing me weight on the shopping_cart:
    Total Items: 3 Weight: 5.1lbs Amount: $71.40
    but that reverts to 0.10 on the checkout_shipping ...

    Something is interferring with the quotes or changing the weight and the output of the prices as you have them listed ... but each one is saying $0.00 ...

    Even with 0.10lbs you would get rates with UPS ...

    Try changing to Classic Template ...

    Try turning off SEO ...
