Credit card details ?

Hi,

i was reading a post about truncating credit card details for storage etc.. i need to know some answers so i can apply for my Bank Merchant facility.

1.Do you immediately delete credit card details from the internet server?
2.Do you encrypt credit card details for storage?
3.do you truncate credit card details for storage?

4.do you have intruder detection software and procedures to deal with a breach?


Now if the answer to question 1 is yes.. then does that rule out the need to store or protect stored credit card details ?
Also what is intruder detection software ?
