    Default Paypal Payflow Pro

    Hi,

I've been trying for a couple of days to get the Paypal Payflow Pro module working.

It keeps generating an error “[RESPMSG] => Invalid vendor account”. [RESULT] => 26.

I'm pretty sure that I have these fields right in the module, as it is identical to the information that I use to log into Paypal Manager.

    PAYFLOW: User
    *******

    PAYFLOW: Partner
    PayPalNZ

PAYFLOW: Vendor (this is the same as vendor)
    *******

    PAYFLOW: Password
    *********

The store I'm testing is at http://www.volunteer.org.nz/secure/.

I have signed up for an account with Paypal Payflow Pro, but haven't paid for it yet, so it's still in test mode.

These is an extract from the error message that I’m receiving:

"Invalid Vendor Account" means you've not given valid user/vendor/partner/password information. And, if you've not received those items from PayPal and/or your account isn't activated yet, of course you're going to get that error.

    Hi,

I've signed up for an account with Paypal Payflow Pro, and have received a "Confirmation of your PayPal Payflow Service" from them with details. I haven't yet purchased and activated the Payflow Pro Service. I have entered the details from the e-mail into the module.

It says in the e-mail that I should be able to begin running test transactions and testing the service.

Do I need to go ahead and purchase it before I can run test transactions properly?

    Thanks,
    Graham

Okay, so you have a test account, but it's not a "live" account.
Your "Invalid Vendor Account" message is therefore a result of attempting to use the "test" credentials against the "live" server, as evidenced by the log message:

Thanks! I just assumed that you could run test transactions/sandbox mode without going right through the payment process.
