help question How to connect paypal website payments standard to sandbox environment

There is an option in "paypal express checkout" to connect to paypal sandbox environment. But there is no such option in "paypal website payments standard". Do I have to test it in real live environment? What other means? Please help. My site can't get into operational before this can be tested. Many thanks.

I've heard many people here say that the best test is a live test. And, with PayPal, you can always refund the transaction, meaning it costs nothing to do the tests.
I myself agree that testing "live" is best, since that's what my customers are going to do -- so, why don't I focus on testing exactly what they'll do?

PayPal lets you have 2 accounts: one business, and one personal. If you can't get a 2nd account set up, then get a friend who has one to do the tests for you, and be sure to refund when you're done. If you don't have a friend, pick a customer instead, and maybe give them a coupon to use against a real purchase later.
