Individual item discounts

I've set up a Sale category and linked a few sale items. Then I adjusted the master category to be the sale category. Now I'd like some of these items to have individual discounts, for example one dress is reduced from £65 to £45 and one jacked from £90 to £50.

Can I set up individual sale rules for individual items using salemaker, or is there a better way? At the moment I can only see setting a rule for % or amount applied to a category (eg sale). Thanks in advance!

Instead of a sale on a category, use specials on individual items.
