Replacing logo.gif question

Hi.....I have read the tutorial on how to do this over and over, and I am still lost on this. I uploaded my logo to the images file. The instructions say to change the file in "includes/templates/CUSTOM/images", but there is no custom folder. There is a classic folder, and a default folder. I put my logo in the classic folder.

The next thing I get confused about is: "save the file to includes/languages/ENGLISH/CUSTOM/header.php and upload it to your server." There is a file named customheader.php, but not custom/header.php.

I think this must be simpler than I am making it out to be. I can not figure out how to replace that logo with my logo.

In your case this is Classic
so
includes/templates/CUSTOM/images
for you, is
includes/templates/classic/images
