Add descriptions to all your sub categories Support Thread

Hello all,
This contribution allows you to add descriptions to your sub categories of your Zencart. You dont need to manually edit the sub category description and add them. This contribution has been coded by my friend Tahir Mehmood so all the credit goes to him

To use this contributon you need to modify these in both the functions

$user_name = "yourdbusername";

$password = "yourdbpassword";

$database = "databasename";

$server = "MYSQL HOST";


Also this will add the desction to your sub category descriptions

$description = "{$result_set[$i]['categories_name']} Your description sentences here {$result_set[$i]['categories_name']}.";
It will display in the format Sub Category Name Few sentences Sub Category Name

Can you explain further please about where this file is placed
within zencart folders/files?

This file will be placed along side the index.php file.
For Example your URL will be

www.yourdomainname.com/db_script.php
