Interest in Swedish forum?

Hi,

Trying to contribute something back to the Zen-Cart community, I wonder if there would be interest in a Swedish forum?

Topics would be shipping, payments etc speciffic to Sweden.

PM me if interested, I'm not convinced myself that it's a good idea to split the forums up in local bits, with different languages...

agree, best would be to keep international forums in one place, and if all stick to English.

I'm in Finland but have similar issues that differ from the US.
And my native language is Swedish : )
I'm definitely interested in the Swedish forum.

I’m interesting in that too...... If the Norwegians has 66 users we should have more then twice as many. So come one……..

Right, my main concern is still that it fragments the forum/user base.

Ideally (or at least an idea) would be if the official forum could contain international sections, so one would have one place to go and search. www.zen-cart.com support admin thoughts on this?

Also, a second concern, language. Could we stick to English, even in a Swedish forum? We would want to share our findings, and be able to get input from the non-swedes... so it must be in English I think...

I think its hard for some to explain, in english, technical terms and explain how to recreate problems... No, go for swedish of you want many members, otherwise we can continue here.

for me it's ok to have the Swedish forum in English. People who aren't so good at expressing their problems in English might still get help in the English language. I mean, we have all sorts of differences in tax /sales tax vs. value added tax, tax rules, shipping and banking concerns that may need help in English.

There are some of us who can help translate questions and answers?

My shop is now nearly finished in Swedish also. Originally I set it up in English. I still need to translate it into Finnish. After that, I'm in trouble regarding the Finnish banking system and its interface. The last time I looked, there were only very old mods available. I haven't looked recently, since I've been distracted by my daughter's visit and a family party.
