Discount Coupon giving No Discount?

I setted up my coupon code at admin /Gift Certificate/CouponsCoupon like below, when I tested it ,It says :Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon ,Actually ,There is no discount made .any body can help me ?Thanks

Did you put a currency symbol into the input field? Just enter a value (10.00) if you want a percentage discount, then insert a % sign after the value.

You need to enter something in the valid catagories list. For all catagories, choose Top. make sure it says allow next to it. If you wish to omit any catagory select this and choose deny. This should work.

Hi,

Not sure if you've overcome this problem yet ... I have been having the same issue. I found that if UNCLICKED the free shipping option then my discount would be applied at checkout. (Also remove the $ from your amount.)
