hosting digital media

hi, working as an affiliate i am wanting to sell digital downloads. basically what i need on the product page is a "trial download" and "download" input box . is there anything already set up to accomodate this or can anyone tell me what files have to be manipulated

Hi kobra, thx for taking the time to reply but these arent files id be hosting myself so i would need 2 boxes for urls. would your suggestions still apply ? sorry i'm just confused i'd already looked at the faqs but maybe i was searching under the wrong terms or definitions

I do not believe that current out-of-the-box versions of Zen Cart can provide for downloads that are not provided on your site. Not to say it can't be done because you can have someone create code that could do it.

First do you have permission to use their bandwidth?
Are they on a server where you have some control?

Im interested, I own all my servers and have permissions do do what ever, I wanted a central location to house the downloads and be available to the different stores I own, yes I have more than one store, they are themed differently with a niche to each type respectively..
