How do I create new definitions or presets for "Send Emails to Customers"?

Does anyone know how to create new presets or definitions for Zencart's "Send EMail to Customers"? (For the "Please Select" dropdown menu.)

I have too many customers to send them all Holiday emails at once, without crashing. My server permits up to 700 emails at once. My everyday email permits only 50 per hour.

My customer list is very large. If I could divide it up into smaller bits, I could use it. Zencart's presets are extremely limited.

Otherwise, can anyone tell me how to extract a list of my email addresses from my zencart database? You know, a list with commas in between. And once I accomplish that, can anyone recommend an open-source e-mail program that will send messages to thousands of customers, or work off of my zencart database.

Otherwise, you can update the pulldown list by adding your own queries to the query_builder table. There are several forum discussions on this topic. Here's one: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79691

Thanks Dr. Byte. I tried the E-mail exporter add-on (which you wrote). It called for a file name from your program that did not exist. After I renamed one file, the program worked. However, it did not include export for "All Customers" which is the one I need. I realize the program is a little old. It would be great if you could update it.

If you want queries for "All Customers", you can alter or add the query_builder table entries, as that's what the Email Address Exporter addon uses. There is no update required to the addon itself.
