I have a client that hands out a gift voucher to staff as an incentive every month, I recieve a list of vouchers she has handed out and mail the staff their redemption emails.
As the only payment option on the cart is via the redeemed voucher I have loaded the COD payment option and revised it to read Gift Cert redemption. Now I have the problem that if the client does not redeem the voucher they are still able to process the order. This is adding to our admin as we now need to check each order against the list of vouchers sent and ensure that the voucher is redeemed before processing the order.
Is there any way that we can redeem the voucher on their behalf and then just send them a mail to say that their account has been credited with the voucher amount?
Apprecaite any assistance you are able to provide as I am still very new to Zen Cart.
