Default How to set up and show shipping rate table in Step 1 of checkout?

I am new at this and have searched the posts but cannot find exactly what I am looking for.

I would like to set up a shipping rate table based on total cost and have the table show up in Step 1 of the checkout process.

    The shipping rates are:

    0-$25, $5 shipping
    $25-$50, $7 shipping
    $50-$100, $9 shipping
    $100-$125, $10 shipping
    $125-over, FREE shipping

I have entered 25:5.00,50:7.00,100:9.00 into the shipping module and selected "total cost" but I don't know how to account for orders over $125 to make them FREE and the table isn't showing up in Step 1 of the checkout process. Instead, it gives the table rate option and has a cost of $0.00.

Can anyone please help me with this?

    Thanks,
    Theresa

I made the addition with the million dollars but the table still is not showing up at checkout. it only give the radio button for the shipping rate table and shows a shipping price of $0.00 only. How do I get the table to show up so that my customers can see the breakdown?

The "table" does not appear at checkout. You need to put your shipping charges and policies into the define_shipping.php page

    ADMIN>>>TOOLS>>>DEFINE PAGES EDITOR

Then tell your customers to go to that page to see shipping charges tables.

You can also force the Shipping Estimator to show on the Shopping Cart page, and this will display to the customer the current charge based on their cart contents.

I do this on one of my clients' sites

Thank you! I will edit the pages to show the shipping charges.

How do I force the charges to show up like you were saying? If it's too difficult I won't worry about it....I'm a newbie :)
