Customer Login to view account

Help...
I'm sure this is basic and I did search but could not find anything....

How does a customer log in to their account to view the status of their order?

I know there is a link in the confirmation email, but how can they access their order directly from our site?

When they arrive at the site, they have to LOGIN (otherwise how does your ZC know who's there). And as they do LOGIN a link called MY ACCOUNT magically appears in the navbar

I guess that is the issue.....

There is no login (that we can find) unless the customer adds more items to their cart and begins the checkout process again...


and I just tried it with my account... added an item to my cart.. logged in, and I have no "My account" link anywhere....

You (or someone) have removed your navMainWrapper, which is where these links appear.

I'll check at work later....

Is that an option in the configuration or a .php "page"

Probably removed or commented out in tpl_header.php in includes/templates/ef/common

You could temporarily remove that file from that template folder to see the default.

Took some playing (as I am not that well versed on PHP coding)
but got it....
looked at old templated et al...
figured out how to just add a link to the existing tpl_header file for a login....

That works for the login, I guess (though you should check the wording again), but I still don't have a 'My Account' link when I log in.
