Hello Royal,
All of the support on this forum is absolutely wonderful. I had a problem in that letter mail stopped showing up as an option. I read through this and another thread and confirmed that everything was set up as it should be. It turned out that deleting a box I had recently set up got my letter mail quotes back again.
I had set up a bubble mailer 20 x 10 x 5. For some reason Canada Post started using that for all of my letter mail items (at a cost of about $5.00 instead of 54¢). I deleted it and my problem.
I noticed that in one of your screenshots you have a bubble mailer set up of similar size. So, it hasn't caused a conflict for you?
Hello iCarp,
I have no problem. It's working the way I want it to.I noticed that in one of your screenshots you have a bubble mailer set up of similar size. So, it hasn't caused a conflict for you?
Make sure that the height for lettermail is 2 cm and under.

I have searched everywhere and can't find where in Canada Post's website that you set up the Lettermail rates and configurations that you are all talking about? I have a Canada Post account and I have searched all over their website =)
Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction? Many thanks!!!

Hello carilivia,
The Lettermail Rates are set-up in you Zen Cart Admin.
Configuration is also in you Zen Cart Admin at your top left side.
Log into your admin and go to Modules/Shipping/Canada Post
Click on edit and input Lettermail Rates.
This is how I did it in my admin:
Enable CanadaPost Shipping
True
Enable Lettermail Rates
True
Max weight for Lettermail
0.500
Table rates for Canada
0.500:2.75
Table rates for USA
0.200:3.40,0.500:6.80
Table rates for International
0.200:6.80,0.500:13.60

Does the dimension in product disappear once you switch the ratio to 0:0 ?
I have lost dimension size in each product I have, and I don't know how to enable that back ?
Hello Pixelfix,
Do you mean when you change these in Configuration/Shipping/Packaging - Zen Cart Admin
Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight - 0:0
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight - 0:0
My product dimension did not disappear.
What happen when you change it back?

Hi Royal et al
Have read all of these posts and I realize they're for lettermail, but my client will definitely be needing to use boxes (clothing).
I have setup Canada Post's box sizes in the clients Retailer Profiler, but I am unsure how the module will figure out which and what items from a shopping cart will fit into a given box size.
I have setup clothing size and colour under Catalog>Product>Attribute Controller. Do you think or know - is this the area where I would be setting up attributes for weight and dimensions of the clothing items in order for the shipping module to handle the box size, weight and therefore shipping cost?
Please let me know. This is the first Zen Cart I've setup.
Thanks!
Hello Sjmills93,
I used this module: http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...products_id=78Have read all of these posts and I realize they're for lettermail, but my client will definitely be needing to use boxes (clothing).
Canada Post Shipping module with dimension includes lettermail rates.
I have box setup as well. You can see that on page 1 (post 4) attachment.
As long as you have the box large enough. You should not have any problem.
You can set up attributes for weight. For dimensions that will be in product section. Look at page 1 (post 6) attachment.I have setup clothing size and colour under Catalog>Product>Attribute Controller. Do you think or know - is this the area where I would be setting up attributes for weight and dimensions of the clothing items in order for the shipping module to handle the box size, weight and therefore shipping cost?

Hi Royal
Thanks for helping. I guess I'm a bit confused, because I had read posts 4 and 6 and actually setup my CP module using your's as the example for mine.
So right now I have a CP module (same one as you used by the way) with table rates for lettermail, but on the Retailer Profile is setup for boxes.
Does this mean my rate table entries in ZenCart should be setup for parcels instead of lettermail or in addition to lettermail?
Currently have: Table rates for Canada
0.030:0.57, 0.050:1.00, 0.100:1.22, 0.200:2.00, 0.300:2.75,0.400:3.00,0.500:3.25
Also, for the purposes of what we're trying to achieve, an accurate shipping cost - is Lettermail considered the same as Xpresspost Bubble envelopes? My client would be able to use the bubble envelopes for "thinner" items like a single t-shirt etc.
Basically, my client needs to have bubble envelopes and boxes. And based on a previous posting, it sounds like I would have to setup the bubble envelopes with the prefix of Lettermail in order for that type of packaging to be picked by the module/returned by CP.
Does the rate table need to include lettermail rates and parcel box rates? Is there another file I should be editing?
How do I handle this? Any inspiration, experience or suggestions are truly welcome!
Thanks
