Gift Certs Merging On Release

We had a customer buy 3x 50 dollar GC's, and when the admin released the coupon, the user was sent 1x 150 dollar GC.

Has anyone else run into this, and if so, is there a quick fix for it?

If I buy 1 GV for $150 and it gets released to my account then I have a balance of $150.00 ...

If I buy 3 GVs for $50.00 and they get released to my account then I have a balance of $150.00 ...

In either case, $150.00 equals $150.00 in my GV Balance ...

Now the customer may send GVs to Friends and Family or total strangers for any amount until the $150.00 balance runs dry ...

Thanks, that makes sense. The customer was asking me why they got 1 for 150 instead of 3, but since they can actually dish them out how they want, I'll explain that to them.
