    Default change database

I have two different zen carts in two different folders but same domain.

One is for whole sale customers and the other regular.
i dont know what happend but it seems that the whole sale cart is now reading same data base as the regular. This means of course that every change in one will affect both.

How do I do I change the database to read?

Sounds as though you've mixed up either your includes/configure.php or your admin/includes/configure.php and duplicated one or both for both sites. These are the files that decide what database is used and which need to be different, if you want to use separate databases.

Actually all the configure.php files seams to be right.

It is something wrong with the whole sale database it self I think. When I try to login in to whole sale it redirects me to my regular shops admin.

But when I look at the shop itself it is different. I have in the beginning copied the database to the whole sale database. Because it is same products any way.

Sounds like your wholesale site's admin/includes/configure.php is pointed at the wrong site (other end of the file from the datbase information).

Thanks for the help. It looks like I got it work. Still there seams to be a difficultie to be logined to both databases at same time.

I also would like to clear all orders and and customers from the database. How do I delete all at once?

If you mean that you can't be logged into two Admins in the same browser, I believe that this was a security measure introduced recently. Basically all information about the site you were logged into is dropped when you log into another with the same session ID. This closes a theoretical loophole, particularly in shared hosting environments.

I recognise that it's a bit inconvenient for you, but there is a workaround. If you login to the second site using a different browser, it will have a different session ID, so no reason for the first to be dropped.

To drop your customers and orders in bulk, you would need to write and execute a database script.

My sites look quit much the same
So it is perhaps better to have different browsers for each admin.

I find that too! Especially as I often have several on the go at once
