Customer password Help

Hi all,

I'm new to Zen Cart. A customer clicks on the forgot password. An email is sent out to the customer with the new password. But the new password does not work at all. So now, both the old password and the new password does not work. Any ideas what is causing this? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Did they use the correct email address to login?

Are you using checkout w/o an account?

Can they create and login to a new account?

The customer account I mentioned is a test account that I'm using to test. I use the same email account and the password that was sent in the email.

Creating a new account is no problem at all. The test user is able to log in. However, when a user clicks on the forgot password, and gets a new password in the email, the new password does not work at all.

I just realized the issue. When a new customer is created, the customer is then logged in. However, when that new customer logs out, he/she can not log back in. Anyone has any idea as to why this is happening and how I can fix this? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your help all. The template I was using had the problem. I used a new template and it's working great now. Thank you again for your help.
