Sorting Featured Products

Hello all!

I would like to sort my featured products to display in their respective categories rather than being all mixed up and displayed together.

I only have two top level categories that I'm interested in displaying separated. Seems simple, huh?

While I appreciate you directing me to the above mentioned thread, it did not seem to actually work. It wasn't providing any sorting of the Featured Items list. But, you did get me thinking of some different search keywords to look for in the forum! I found my answer by using the Featured Sorted contrib.

It adds a sort order option directly to the Featured Products admin menu at [Admin/Catalog/Featured Products].

Now that the programming is done, after I tweak the design a little bit, it should fit quite nicely into my site the way I had intended. Thanks!
