cant find the zc_install

Hi I just downloaded zencart today and am trying to install it. I have uploaded it to my server. Not sure where to go from here. I have been reading the forum all day and the FAQ's and can't find an answer. I got as far as opening www.carriesphotography.com/zencart/admin ....when I open up the index.php I get an error page telling me to install zc_install. This is what I can't find. I would appreciate any help in this matter. thanks Carrie

You will need to upload those files from a zencart install full set.

Upload all of the files and directories included in the download package to you server, then point your browser to your_domain.com/directory_where_ZC_is/ and that should take you to a page that will say "click here to get started"

Hi Thanks, but I downloaded full version and do not see any install folder.

When you uncompressed the zip file (i.e. zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007.zip) before uploading to your store, do you see a zc_install folder? That is the install folder.

However, for installation, you need to make sure you upload all the files from the downloaded zip to your server. Make sure you use a good FTP program to do the upload (e.g FileZilla) or you might end up with missing or corrupted files which would impede your installation effort.

After that, follow Kim's earlier post to begin your installation.

Hi Thanks Guys, I think I am getting there but still don't see a zc_install folder. I have uploaded the whole zencart (unzipped) folder to my server. www.carriesphotography.com/zencart/

The only folder I see is the admin folder and I looked in that one too for the zc_install folder. Thanks for your time.
