My store "hangs" at product preview

One mod installed (currency update)
Default template (yet no custom template installed)


Hello,

in my brand new installation a problem occurs when trying to add products:
Choosing Admin-"Categories/Products", choosing a category and then trying to add a product - after hitting "preview" zen cart returns either:
-a page with the Admin top menu only, Browser waiting for further server response, or
-Admin top menu and some preview info, but hangs before the "insert" button line appears, or
-in very, very rare cases, the product can actually be previewed and inserted. In this case identical product settings when deleting and recreating are sometimes successful, sometimes not.

As said, not (!) an entirely blank page and also no error message, but Browser in a state of waiting for some server response.

I did the ZenCart installation manually. A previous installation of 1.3.8a using Fantastico installer showed the same problem.

Hi,

I´m getting a similar error.

I am configuring a new installation of version 1.3.8a and after entering a product I am getting a blank page in the store.

I installed the add-on Enable Error Logging and received the following error:

[18-Jan-2010 00:32:47] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function zen_get_tax_rate() in /home/a70864/public_html/loja/teste/includes/functions/functions_prices.php on line 254

Someone has any idea what could be wrong?

Me too, I can not add or modify some of my products. Getting this

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /XXXXXX/product.php could not be found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.




Please help?
