I have a weird request that I am not sure to handle. I am developing a Zen Cart driven website for a client and they are asking me if it is possible to create a custom shopping experience depending on which customer has logged in.
For example, the opening page would be a welcome screen that asked for returning customers to log in to the store. Once logged in, that customer would only see products that the store owner wanted them to see. Everyone else could just click "I'm new here" or something like that and be directed to the basic store.
I'm new to PHP so I'm sitting here scratching my head. Let me know what you guys think.
Re: Customer-Specific Products?
zencart does not have this feature nor i seen any module that would do this .. this might require lots of customization to both admin and catalog section of zencart . if your client really need this feature . then you may want to post request in Commercial help wanted section of this forum .
