Please help! I moved my zen cart to root directory, now unable to register!

Hi, I have moved my zen cart to the root directory, everything looks fine until I try to register new account, then I found I couldn't register, but I can log in with old account, are there anyone can tell me what is the problem? Thanks a lot!

*Lunix server

I take it that you:

1. made the appropriate changes to PATHS in the two configure.php files.

2. You ran the fix_cache_key.php file as discussed elsewhere on this forum.

Admin > Configuration > Sessions : Session Directory

Make sure the above setting has been changed to use the new path to your 'cache' dir.

Thanks! I did all things above, also ran the fix cache key.php, but I still couldn't register, after I submit, it shows the same page which require those information.

Since doing the move have you completely closed your Browser? If not you will have to clear your Browser cache (CTRL + F5 for FF) or close all open programs and restart your computer.

Do you know which files are related to register, so I may check them.

These are in your templates folder(s), but your logic is sound. One or more files may have been corrupted during the move between folders.

If the site URL is provided then others can help test. If others can create a new account it will mean the problem is only with your computer.
