Checkout confirmation page has wrong font size on 1.3.8a

I'm upgrading from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a, and I'm encountering a peculiar problem on the upgrade. On the order confirmation page (index.php?main_page=checkout_confirmation), the fonts are suddenly twice as big. The fonts in the header and footer sections are as they should be, but all of the text in the main section of the page are too big, including the side boxes. This occurs only on the order confirmation page of v1.3.8a and only between the header and the footer. All other pages I've tested with 1.3.8a are just fine.

I examined the following files, but I didn't find anything unusual:
• includes/modules/pages/checkout_confirmation/header.php
• includes/templates/templates_default/templates/tpl_checkout_confirmation_default.php
• includes/languages/english/checkout_confirmation.php

I also installed the following modules:
• Edit Orders
• Stock by Attributes v4.7
• Testimonial Manager v1.5.0
• Reward Points v1.22

Never mind. I finally found the error. It occurred in includes/languages/checkout_confirmation.php. The file started with <p> and ended with </p>. I'm not sure how they got there, but they seemed like a benign code, so they were easy to miss. The problem resolved once I took out the code. I was able to duplicate the error by putting them back in.
