Q- Image of product will delete when i delete the product ?

Hi,

I have some question about image of product :

1. When i delete product from admin / categories / product . Will image of that product delete in my folder or just delete in database ?

2. When i upload new image for some product, do they overdrive or delete old image ?

I wonder about that because my folder image is bigger now . It is about 200-300 mb.

The admin will not delete any images from your /images/ folder, it will only delete the image name from the database. You will have to delete obsolete image files yourself.

If you upload a new version of an existing product image, with the same name as the original image, it should delete the old version when it saves the new.

Thanks you ! I will very confusing when we delete image from FTP and check again in homepage to know how it look like .



I think zencart team need to develop more about this problem.
