I would like to second that. Would be nice if spiders didnt show in total page count. Then you can tell how many visitors you had with out spiders.

That's fine for you, but my site ALWAYS has spiders. I know that it's being indexed without seeing them in 'Who's online'. I'd rather just see the customers.

So what you're saying is you have no customer traffic. Because if you have a lot of customer traffic you should see them more than you're seeing spiders.

Maybe you need to work on your marketing.

I think you misunderstood my statement, friend. I have plenty of customer traffic but it is mixed with constant spider traffic too. I would rather have a view to only show the customers online and it would be great if that would be displayed with the most active customer at the top and the least active at the bottom.

Of course you can do that.

My way of achieving this:

first open your_admin/whos_online.php:,

Find this (line 236)

if (isset($_REQUEST['filter']) && $_REQUEST['filter'] == 'true') {
    $where = ' where ip_address <> "' . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . '" '; 
  }

Replace with

if (isset($_REQUEST['filter']) && $_REQUEST['filter'] == 'true') {
    $where = ' where ip_address <> "' . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . '" AND session_id <> "' . !empty($checking) . '" '; 
  }

now your filter option "Filter Admin's IP Adress" also filters out the spiders. You can also add something like "and Spiders" on line 251 behinde the "Filter admin's IP Address" for goog looks
