hidden product page

i need to have a product that can be added to the shopping cart but not appear it the category lists. i have a product that is only going the be available through an email link. So basically i need a hidden product page that can only be reached by the direct web address. Does anyone know how this can be done? I hope this makes since.

Probably not.

You might have to make a seperate database and directory and install of Zen to do this. Is it only one product or a few products?

Then make the login required to shop.
