Connection to Database failed.
Connection to Database failed ... Access denied for user: 'myname@localhost' (Using password: YES)
I have checked the data and rechecked many times.
I have installed other database applications on my Server before with no issues.
Is there anything else I should consider before contacting my host?
Many thanks in advance

Re: Connection to Database failed.
Assuming you've correctly entered the proper database/user/password/server details, it would seem that you've not set valid permissions on the database user you created: http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=268
Keep in mind that some hosting control panels add a username prefix to all database users you create. ie: if your cPanel username is "jennifer" and you create a database user named "store", then your *actual* database username will be "jennifer_store". Likewise your database name will have a prefix assigned to it as well. Check with your hosting company if you're uncertain about the correct details to enter.
