    Default Problems with shipping weights

Hi, As a newbie to Zen Cart and the help some of you have given me so far I am hoping that you can help me again.

I am having a slight problem with my shipping estimator as when it is used after selecting a product the correct weight shows at the correct weight then when it estimates the price for shipping it uses 3.440kgs instead of 0.44kgs

    Please see below.

    Estimate Shipping Costs
    Total Items: 1 Weight: 0.44kgs Amount: £6.99

    Available Shipping Methods Rates
Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Signed ForTM "Packet" (Great Britain and Northern Ireland only : 3.440 kg(s)) £11.83

Royal Mail Standard Parcels (3 to 5 days. Delivery to United Kingdom : 3.440 kgs) £8.30

Royal Mail specialdelivery® next day (Great Britain & Northern Ireland only : 3.440 kg(s)) £22.50

Royal Mail Standard Parcels (to £100 insurance) (3 to 5 days. Delivery to United Kingdom : 3.440 kgs) £9.30

Royal Mail Standard Parcels (to £250 insurance) (3 to 5 days. Delivery to United Kingdom : 3.440 kgs) £9.10

I know I am probably doing something completely wrong so if you can help I would be most grateful.
    Regards Andrew

    go into
Admin>configuration>Shiping/Packaging>Package tare small to medium, and set the value to 0:0

    and
Admin>configuration>Shiping/Packaging>Larger Packages, and set the value to 0:0

    this should sort the problem
