Using FrontPageSlideShoe with Zen-Cart?

I have built several Zen-cart sites and have used Frontpageslideshow on several non Zen-cart sites. Now I want to try to Frontpageslideshow with Zen-cart.
I have to insert the following code snippet, where I want the slide show to appear.

I have tried adding it through the main_page editor (plain text) but it doesn't work.

Has anybody used Frontpageslideshow with Zen-cart.

Has anybody any suggestions about entering the code snippet.

Front Page Slide Show is a great slide show solution.

I followed the instructions that came with the FPSS package and then put the FPSS php code in the includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_main_page.php file.

I wanted FPSS to only appear on the zen cart index page only so I added...

if ($this_is_home_page) {

just below the...

<?php

...at the beginning of the FPSS php code.

Worked like a charm.
