Changing define_pages_editor script

Hello all,

Yes Ive looked through many searches but still cannot get a result.

I want to alter the writing in the privacy section, so I therefore have used define pages editor, selected the file define_privacy.php, and then altered the writing.

However, after pressing save, nothing is saved, it always reverts back to the template text thats in there.

Please help and explain how I can get it to save my new text

You need to make sure the files have the correct permissions on your server. The fille must be read-write-execute, chmod 777.

Okay, but how do i locate the file to find out if it has the permissions and also how do i change the file to read write execute ? Or do I have to go back to the company that built the web site for me ?

You should be able to get into your hosting control panel; the file manager there is the place to check on (and change) file permissions.
