    Default Buttons Not Showing Up

When you click on a product the Add to cart, Tell a friend, Previous, Return to the product list and Next buttons are less than 1/4 inch tall. I saw to edit thru the css but can't find height just width. Can someone tell me what I need to do?

Your button images don't look valid - how are you uploading them?

Your images are way to large. Not a good idea to leave them as bitmaps. They really need to be converted to GIFs or JPGs and optimized for web use. Even on my fast broadband line, the home page took almost three minutes (176.9 secs) to download first time.

I am using the Lavender template so it is whatever came with it. I have not changes anything on that part. I can delete the previous, next and return to home page but the add to cart and tell a friend I would like to keep.

All my pictures are jpg. I want them large. I hate going to a site where you have to squint to try to see the pictures. Anything else I can do?

It's not the physical size of your images that are the problem - it's the file size. They are about 100 times as big as they should be, and your pages load very slowly because of that.

Also, Your logo image looks like a random bunch of large pixels here, in both IE and FF.

I think that whatever is causing that is causing the button problem also. Try switching to CSS (or not CSS, if they're CSS now) in Admin. You might also find the Lavender Template support thread, and search it for 'buttons'.

Some of your images are still .bmp's.

I resized the Chubby Cheeks image to 126 X 150 and saved it as a .jpg - 17.6Kb rather than 1.44Mb (!). Looks just the same to me.
