Interpreting Admin Home Page Counter History

Running v1.3.8a.

Can someone please tell me what the accurate translation of the Counter History numbers are. I read FAQ entry 154 and got the impression that for the following, the interpretation would be one visitor looking at a total of seven pages. Is that correct?

01/05/10 1 - 7

Would the following be 5 visitors looking at 14 total pages collectively?

01/04/10 5 - 14

Also, does the counter include robots or worms, and conform to the session time limits set in the configuration menu that allows setting session length? So a worm or spider visiting 7 times looking at four pages, each visit separated by one hour would yield an inclusion of 7 - 28 to that day's counter history?

1 person 7 pages ... 5 people 14 pages ...

NOTE: the number of people is based on "sessions" so if I go to your site now and hit 5 pages it will add as 1 person and 5 pages ...

Later, an hour or two later, after the session expires, if I click a page it will count as another person or "session" and the page(s) I click during the active session ...

So the left column is the unique session count and the right column is the number of pages hit ...
