Default Choose Attributes after Add to Cart

Is it possible to make it so that the attributes for a given product appear AFTER the product has been added to the cart? via module or whatever.

Thank you for any enlightenment you can provide.

Sorry, I was probably too vague.

What we would like to do, if possible, is make it so that the Attributes for the given product appear on an intermediate page AFTER the Add To Cart button has been clicked but before going to the Shopping Cart, rather than appearing on the same page as the product.

The reason for this is because there are a TON of options that have to be selected on each product.

I have them on the same page now, and it will work as is, I was just hoping to find a way to make it a little more elegant. If it can't be done, so be it.

    Thanks for any insight.

That is not a stock option and while nearly anything is possible - I'm not sure that it would be very feasible.

Thank you, Kim, for the quick reply.

As you said, I hadn't been able to find a built-in way to do it, so I was hoping for a module or some such thing.

But, if someone with 30,000+ posts says it isn't feasible, I'll take your word for it!

    Thanks again,

Sounds like a nice idea though.

Or add the attributes as options to the cart page, just to make sure the customer (almost) can't overlook the attributes.

Yes, that is exactly what we are worried about, shoppers neglecting to make their choices. The sheer volume of Attributes/Options causes the Product page to be about 8 screen lengths long. That's a lot of scrolling.

I have Add To Cart buttons at both the top and bottom of the page, but I think I will remove it from the top and replace it with a note reminding shoppers to scroll down for options. Then they will have to scroll past everything to get to the Add To Cart button at the bottom.

You can make all of the options required if the customer has to choose from each attribute too.
