Edit Box missing in shipping modules

The edit section for the shipping modules is not showing? I can not install or edit any of the shipping options.
The version of Zen Cart is 1.3.8a

Any ideas?

I want to change the option to not charge sales tax on shipping. Would this be the correct place to make this change.?

Sounds like a bad, corrupt, duplicate etc. file in either:
/includes/modules/shipping
/includes/langauges/english/modules/shipping

Has this ever worked?

Did you add anything new?

Thanks for the reply, Nothing has been added that I am know of. The last time I was in the admin it worked, that was about 2 months ago.

Using your FTP program ... check that all the files, on the server, in:
/includes/modules/shipping

are the code ...

Then, check that all the files in:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

are the matching language files ...

Language files will contain all of the define statements and not code ...

There needs to be a matching code file and language file for each module ...

In the Admin when you go to the Modules ... Shipping ... do you see any errors on the screen other than the missing right side panel?

I did check all the files and all seem fine. I compared them to a fresh copy of the includes directory.

The only difference was a back up file that I made of the usps.php named usps.XXX2008-09-09.php in the modules/shipping

I removed this file and lost all the shipping options in the admin.

That is when I decided to do a fresh upload of all the shipping files. and that did the trick.

I probably should have done that from the beginning.

Thanks for the update that you have this working now ...

Be careful of leaving files in the module directories as those are self loading directories ...

If you want to rename a file like:
usps.php

use something like:
usps.php_XXX2008-09-09

That way, it is not seen as a php file and will not be loaded ...
