I "got rid" of the "Information" sidebox and placed all its links in EZPages areas by doing this:
Call up a link in the "Information" sidebox - EG: Contact Us
Look in your browser address bar... it will say something like:
Code:
http://www.YOURSITE.COM/index.php?main_page=contact_us
Clip this bit...
Code:
index.php?main_page=contact_us
Then, create an EZPages "PAGE" called Contact Us, but make it an INTERNAL LINK PAGE. (see the bottom of the EZPage editor screen)
Simply paste:
Code:
index.php?main_page=contact_us
into the Internal Link URL
Make sure your EZPage has a sort order, then you can decide where to put it.
If you do the above with ALL the links in the "Information" sidebox, you now have EZPages LINKS, and you can put them in the footer, header or sidebox (or a combination of all 3).
Then you can disable the "Information" sidebox.
I have done this at Karens Cakes website (see my sig below)
